Ukraine, as part of the peace plan proposed by the United States, must agree to hold elections. This was announced on November 23 by the special representative of the American leader Donald Trump for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg.

"There is a point in the plan, which, I think, is also important, about holding elections. It says quite clearly that Ukraine must hold elections within 100 days," he said on Fox News channel.
