President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will need to fight in case of refusal of a peaceful settlement. This was announced on November 22 by US President Donald Trump on Fox News channel.

"He can continue to fight to his heart's content," he said, answering a question about the consequences of the Ukrainian leader's rejection of Washington's peace plan.

Trump stressed that the proposals to end the conflict in Ukraine are not final, and the American side primarily seeks to achieve a peaceful solution.

On November 19, the Axios portal reported on the details of the 28-point US plan to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. It involves the transfer of the territories of Donbass controlled by Ukraine to the Russian Federation in exchange for security guarantees from Washington.

On November 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Moscow had received a 28-point plan from Washington, which, according to him, could be used "as the basis for a final peaceful settlement."

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also noted that there had not yet been a substantive discussion of the US peace plan with Russia. However, according to him, the effective work of the Russian military should convince the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, that it is better to negotiate and do it now.
