Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schof did not speak at the G20 summit in Johannesburg for an unknown reason, RIA Novosti reported on November 22.

The chairman of the event, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, had already begun to announce Schof's speech, when instead of him, the head of the Dutch Finance Ministry, Elko Heinen, unexpectedly took the floor.

"Thank you, Mr. Chairman, but the Finance Minister will speak on behalf of the Netherlands," the agency quoted Heinen as saying.
