The Israeli Air Force has attacked areas in eastern Lebanon.
The Israeli Air Force (IAF) has again attacked areas in eastern Lebanon, the Lebanese TV channel Al Mayadeen reported on November 22.
According to media reports, the aircraft carried out 16 strikes in several areas, including the mountainous area of Shmestar in the Bekaa Valley.
In southern Lebanon, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) warplanes raided the Jabal al-Rafi area, the outskirts of the town of Sojod and the Al-Nakra Valley near the town of Kfar Hamam.
Prior to that, on November 18, the IDF press service reported that the military had attacked a training center for the Palestinian Hamas movement located in southern Lebanon. It was noted that the affected military complex served as a training base for planning terrorist attacks against Israeli army personnel.
On November 16, the press service of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) reported that the IDF had attacked UN peacekeepers in southern Lebanon. It was clarified that UNIFIL called on the Israeli army to cease fire through their communication channels and noted that such actions are a serious violation of the UN Security Council resolution by Israel.
