A train collided with a car in the Novosibirsk region
In the Novosibirsk region, a freight train collided with a car at a regulated railway crossing. This was reported on November 22 in the Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
"Today, at a regulated railway crossing on the 55th km, the first picket of the stage between Bugotak and Vostochnaya stations, in the Toguchinsky district of the Novosibirsk region, a freight train collided with a car," the department's Telegram channel says.
According to preliminary data, the passenger of the car was killed in the accident, and the driver was taken to a medical facility with injuries.
The Investigative Committee of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region is conducting a pre-investigation check under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of railway transport").
On November 6, a criminal case was opened in Khabarovsk due to an incident on the railway, during which a bus and a train collided. According to the investigation, on that day, at a railway crossing in the Orekhovaya Sopka microdistrict, a diesel locomotive collided with a passenger bus that was crossing the tracks in front of the rolling stock. The driver tried to slow down, but it was not possible to avoid a collision. As a result, the driver and three passengers, including a minor, were injured.
