Hamilton finished last in qualifying for the Las Vegas Grand Prix
On November 22, seven-time world champion, Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton took the last, 20th, place in qualifying for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which takes place on the US city highway.
The Ferrari driver scored the worst result in the first segment, and his last attempt failed due to tire problems on a wet track. As a result, Hamilton will start the race from last place on the grid.
Apart from Hamilton, Alexander Albon, who had an accident, as well as Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Gabriel Bortoleto and Yuki Tsunoda also failed to qualify in the first segment.
This season, Hamilton is in sixth place in the individual standings with 148 points, while McLaren's Lando Norris is in the lead with 390 points.
Earlier, on November 8, the judges issued a warning to Hamilton for driving under double yellow flags in the second segment of the sprint qualifying of the Brazilian Grand Prix. It was noted that the warning was issued due to the fact that the rider did not slow down enough while driving past the parked car of his teammate Charles Leclair.
