Italian pop singer Ornella Vanoni has died at the age of 92. This was reported on November 21 by the newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Vanoni was born into a wealthy family and educated abroad. She graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Milan, after which she began a career in the music scene. During her long career, Vanoni has collaborated with musicians such as Fabrizio De Andre, Lucho Dalla, and many jazz artists.

The singer has participated in the Sanremo Pop Song Festival eight times, most recently in 2018. In 2020, 2021 and 2022, she performed on the Ariston stage, where the famous festival takes place.

Vanoni conquered the audience not only with her voice, but also in a spectacular way, being straightforward and witty. She has been performing all her life, and her frequent appearances on TV shows have made her a real star.
