The capital's Teatralny Boulevard Festival has won the Brand of the Year Award

The international outdoor festival "Teatralny Boulevard" became the winner of the national award "Brand of the Year in Russia", having received three awards. This was told by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"Theater Boulevard is a vibrant event, an opportunity to see firsthand the country's leading artists, watch rehearsals and readings of plays, participate in discussions and workshops. In two seasons, the festival has attracted more than two million Muscovites and guests of the capital. The project will continue to develop next year," Natalia Sergunina noted.

The project won in two block categories for regional and niche initiatives — "Services in the field of culture and art" and "Services in the field of event management". In addition, the festival was awarded in the special category "Cultural Code", awarded to brands that have made a significant contribution to the development of culture, art or education.

In the two years of its existence, Teatralny Boulevard has received eight professional awards. In 2025, the project became the longest-running theater festival in the world. Its duration was 92 days, and the events were held at 14 city venues. Six of them were located on Pokrovsky, Chistoprudny, Tsvetnoy Boulevards, Patriarch's Ponds, in the Polytech Museum Park and in the Green Courtyard near the Sovremennik Theater. The program includes more than a thousand productions, including operettas, classical drama and puppet shows.

Earlier, the Union of Theatrical Figures of Russia, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow signed a trilateral cooperation agreement. The All-Russian marathon festival "Russia — Theater — Society", dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theatrical Figures, is planned to be held within the framework of the Theater Boulevard.

The organizers of the Brand of the Year in Russia award reported that in 2025, more than 600 applications were received for the competition. The award is being presented for the third time.
