The people who really attract attention are not necessarily the richest, most charismatic, or most successful. The main thing is openness, sincerity and openness. Konstantin Rachilov, entrepreneur and founder of Rachilov Business Club, told Izvestia about this on November 23.
"People attract attention to themselves when they are responsive, when they are socially active, openly share their problems, and offer something. When a person says, "I can help you," or "I have a task, maybe you can tell me," a normal live interaction occurs. This is the human attitude that everyone lacks," Rachilov explains.
He is confident that sincerity is becoming a real competitive advantage today. In his opinion, such people are valuable in the business environment because you can talk to them directly and exchange opinions, rather than hiding behind a fake image of success. When everyone around you says "I'm doing great," but they're actually in debt, it's not about development. The real attention is attracted by those who are honest and open, the entrepreneur notes.
Rachilov believes that being interesting and attractive is a skill that can be developed. To do this, you need to consciously pay attention to communication and learn to listen, not just talk about yourself.
"If they ask you how you're doing, you shouldn't talk about your business for two hours. People will get tired and go about their business. It's better to listen to the person first, and then tell them about yourself. It works much more efficiently," he explains.
According to the entrepreneur, there are several simple habits that make a person more visible and interesting to others. First, it is worth leading an active social life. New acquaintances are almost always beneficial — they are ideas, opportunities, contacts. Secondly, it is important to offer help, but not to the detriment of yourself.
"When you do something for a person without expectations, it triggers a natural exchange. People remember who helped them, and they will want to respond in kind," says the expert.
Another habit is a sincere interest in the other person. You need to ask questions and clarify details, even if the topic doesn't seem close. A person feels attention, opens up and begins to trust. If you let the other person speak at the beginning of the conversation, then tell them a little about themselves and offer help, it always works better than just talking about yourself.
He also advises not to be afraid to take the initiative. You shouldn't wait for someone else to suggest a meeting or an idea - the leader is the one who takes the first step. It's easier for people to follow someone who offers than to take the initiative into their own hands. Therefore, the initiator always wins — in communication, partnership and business.
Another important element of attraction is the ability to talk not only about your successes, but also about your problems. This creates trust and enables others to get involved.
"If you don't talk about your tasks, help won't come to you. And if you share, the person may know someone who will solve the problem. This is how a real community is formed, and not just an exchange of business cards," the expert notes.
According to him, social capital is more important than money today. If you don't talk about your tasks and help others, the environment will be useless. Everyone will be thinking only about money.
