Rosobrnadzor named a condition for the abolition of the Unified State Exam in Russia

In Russia, the Unified State Exam (USE) will be canceled only in the case of a worthy alternative replacement. This was announced on November 21 by the head of the department, Anzor Muzaev.

"My favorite question is: will they cancel the Unified State Exam or not? <...> I always say: they will cancel if they offer something in return," TASS quoted him as saying.

According to him, currently no one can offer such an alternative. Muzaev also recalled a statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who recognized the disadvantages of the Unified State Exam and emphasized the need to improve the exam.

On August 21, it was reported that there would be no changes in the structure and content of the control measuring materials of the OGE and the Unified State Exam, as well as the GVE (state final exam), which will take place in 2026. It was clarified that the content of KIM was carried out in accordance with the school curriculum. In the third paragraph of the specification, for each line of the question, the provisions of the school curriculum and the classes in which the assignment material is studied are indicated.
