The Geely Galaxy V900 premium hybrid minivan debuted at the ongoing Guangzhou International Auto Show. This was reported on November 21 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the scene.

The car is based on the British fully electric LEVC L380 model, the wheelbase of which has been increased by 15 mm in the Chinese version. The Geely Galaxy V900 is equipped with a hybrid powerplant with a 163-horsepower gasoline turbo engine. The automaker keeps the characteristics of the electric motor a secret, but the parameters of traction batteries are known — two options with capacities of 50 and 43 kWh are offered. With these batteries, the 5.4-meter minivan is only capable of driving 202 or 172 km electric.

The impressive dimensions of the Galaxy V800 made it possible to place six separate seats in the car interior, equipped with heating, ventilation and several types of massage and a large reserve of free space for all passengers.

It also offers a version designed for eight riders, which has two more floor-retractable seats in the trunk. The vehicle is equipped with electrically extendable footrests, 18- or 20-inch wheels.

Earlier today, it was reported about the debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show of two pickups built on the basis of the Chinese UAZ. Two pickup trucks based on the 212 SUV, popularly known as the "Chinese UAZ," were shown at the BAW stand. One of them is based on a standard chassis.: It is equipped with a soft removable fabric roof and features a luxurious two-tone leather interior. Under the hood is a two—liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 252 hp.
