The renovated bus station in Yalta is planned to be opened for the new holiday season. About 40 people work at the facility every day, the mayor of the city, Yanina Pavlenko, said on her social networks on Friday, November 21.

The reconstruction of the building is proceeding according to schedule. To date, the emergency platforms have been dismantled and the reinforcement of the supporting structures has been completed, which took almost seven months.

The installation of stained glass window blocks is also suitable for finishing. From December 1, interior decoration will begin in some rooms, writes IA SevastopolMedia.

Monolithic works, the construction of internal partitions and the installation of water supply and sewerage systems are in the active phase.

Earlier it was reported that 200 tons of sand and 35 tons of salt were harvested in Yalta for winter road maintenance. Almost 700 tons will be required for the season, and the contracts are in execution.
