There was no substantive discussion with Russia of the US peace plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a briefing on November 21.

"Officially, we have not received anything, and we see some innovations, but officially we have not received anything. There was no substantive discussion of these points," Peskov said.

This is how he answered the question about Russia's participation in the development of the peace plan.

The Western media reported on the eve of a new plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, which includes 28 points. Among them are the reduction of the size of the Ukrainian army and the volume of military assistance to Kiev, the granting of the state status to the Russian language, as well as the recognition of Donbass and Crimea as part of Russia.

On the same day, The Wall Street Journal reported that Ukraine had amended the US plan to resolve the conflict, changing one of the points that concerned exposing the corruption of the Kiev authorities. According to the newspaper, the version of the document published on the Internet already includes edits made by Kiev.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, in turn, said that Russia had not officially received any plans for Ukraine from the United States for a peaceful settlement of the conflict. According to her, the Russian side has repeatedly received commissioned articles describing such processes, but later information about this was not confirmed.
