The Tagansky District Court of Moscow has arrested a student of a Moscow university for using an extremist symbol in a messenger. This is stated in the document, which was reviewed by Izvestia on November 21.

The young man will remain in custody for 15 days. It was established that he publicly demonstrated an emoji with the flag of the Al-Qaeda terrorist group banned in Russia (a terrorist organization banned in Russia).

Prior to that, on November 9, almost 10 people, including Russian citizens and foreigners, were arrested in a criminal case on cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in the framework of a terrorist community.
