New iCaur V27 SUV for Russia debuted in China

The Chery concern presented a new iCaur V27 SUV with a sequential hybrid powertrain (REEV) at the Guangzhou International Motor Show, the Izvestia correspondent reports on November 21.

First, the new product will appear on the Chinese market, it will happen in the first quarter of 2026. It has already been announced that next year the model will go on sale in Russia, where it will be the debut model of the new iCaur brand.

The Chery iCaur V27 features an angular exterior design. The length of the model is 5055 mm, width — 1976 mm, height — 1894 mm. The wheelbase is 2910 mm.

Under the hood of the iCaur V27 is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 143 hp, which works as a generator. The car is powered by two electric motors with a capacity of 456 hp. The range on electric traction is about 200 km.

In Guangzhou, the model was shown in two versions — the usual "urban" and more off-road, which is characterized by a design of discs and mud tires, a roof rack and rear window mounts.

iCaur representatives previously stated that the hybrid power plant of the new SUV ensures efficient operation in the temperature range from -35 to +60 degrees. As part of the adaptation for the Russian market, the suspension has been strengthened and thermoregulation has been improved.
