- The number of trucks from Kazakhstan traveling under the light regime exceeded 2.7 thousand.
The number of trucks from Kazakhstan that entered the territory of Russia exceeded 2.7 thousand vehicles after the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on a simplified procedure for the import of goods. This was reported to Izvestia on November 21 by the press service of the Federal Customs Service (FCS).
According to the decree, until December 10, 2025, it is allowed to import goods from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to Russian legal entities without documents confirming the status of EAEU goods and without labeling, subject to a number of conditions.
"2,797 cars entered Russia from the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 778 dated October 24, 2025," the ministry said.
They added that there is no accumulation of heavy trucks or queues at the checkpoint.
On September 24, the Federal Customs Service commented on the data on the accumulation of trucks on the border of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan. The agency explained that customs officers, based on appeals from entrepreneurs and to combat gray imports, carry out traditional verification measures to stop the import of products dangerous to citizens.
