The calculation of the Tor-M2 air defense system destroyed the Shark reconnaissance UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The calculation of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) of the motorized rifle unit of the Center group of forces, covering the advance of troops in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO), destroyed a Shark-type reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on November 21 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

While on combat duty and continuously monitoring the airspace, the servicemen promptly detected a Ukrainian drone approaching at a distance of more than 8 km and an altitude of about 1.7 km. The radar facilities of the complex promptly detected the target, escorted it and destroyed it with an anti-aircraft missile.
