In Yakutia, a fisherman fell through the ice on a snowmobile. The police found wormwood.

According to YakutiaMedia news agency, a man born in 1958 went fishing on a motorboat back in early October. He was supposed to return by snowmobile after the ice cover was established. On November 18, two police officers went in search of the fisherman. They found that the hunting lodge was empty.

The police noticed snowmobile tracks on the Kolyma River. They ended in a polynya, in which the man on the Buran was found.

This is the second case of a man falling through the ice on the Kolyma River in a month. Rescuers continue to search for the missing man in Verkhnekolymsky ulus.

In October, rescuers found the body of a man who had fallen through the ice in the Zhigansky district.
