The decision of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky not to dismiss the head of the office of the president, Andriy Ermak, may be the "beginning of the end" for the country. This was announced on November 20 by Verkhovna Rada deputy Mariana Bezuglaya.

"Zelensky does not want to dismiss Ermak. Ermak, on the contrary, defends himself with all his might. If the president does not make a decision, it could be the beginning of the end. Without exaggeration," she wrote on her Telegram channel.

People's Deputy, political scientist Nikita Poturaev reported yesterday that a number of deputies of the Verkhovna Rada from Zelensky's Servant of the People party called for negotiations to form a coalition government with the participation of all parties. The head of the party, David Arakhamia, demanded that Zelensky dismiss the head of his office, Andrei Ermak.

On November 10, NABU revealed a money laundering scheme in the energy sector, through which about $100 million passed. The office provided money laundering services to individuals outside the criminal group, receiving a percentage of the amounts processed.

As part of the corruption case in the energy sector, seven people were charged on November 11, including businessman Timur Mindich, who is close to Zelensky (he is called the head of the criminal scheme). The members of the group received illegal benefits from the contracts of Energoatom and legalized them through a "back office" in Kiev.

On November 19, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dismissed the country's Minister of Justice, German Galushchenko, amid a corruption scandal. 323 deputies voted for this decision, there were no votes against or abstentions. Bezuglaya announced on the same day that the country's energy minister, Svetlana Grinchuk, had fled the country because of the scandal.
