Moscow enterprises have increased the production of paper products

The production of paper and cardboard products in Moscow in January–September 2025 increased by 3.6% compared to the same period last year. This was announced on Thursday, November 20, according to the website of the Moscow City Hall.

Anatoly Garbuzov, head of the capital's Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, noted that more than 700 woodworking and printing enterprises operate in the city, which have access to support measures to modernize and expand production, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

The capital produces packaging, boxes, wallpaper, stationery and other products made of cardboard and paper. Some companies have already shown growth: one of them has increased sales of disposable tableware by 7% and is preparing to launch aseptic packaging, Moscow 24 writes. Another company is expanding its equipment fleet — new lines began to be commissioned in November, and full completion is scheduled for December–January, the website writes kp.ru .

Moscow remains the country's largest industrial center: about 4,600 enterprises operate here, and about 150 new high-tech industries are opened annually. 360.ru .
