DOM.RF supports the introduction of ethical standards for the use of AI in the financial sector

DOM.RF supported the implementation of the Code of Ethics on Artificial Intelligence in the financial market and will contribute to the development of a methodology for assessing the financial effectiveness of AI projects. The relevant memoranda were signed by members of the AI Alliance and the Fintech Association at the AI Journey 2025 conference, the press service of DOM.RF said.

The work within the framework of the memoranda will be aimed at forming system rules for the implementation of AI in the financial sector. The methodology for assessing the financial effectiveness of AI projects will become a single tool for calculating business results from the introduction of artificial intelligence. It takes into account the effects of R&D projects, establishes correct evaluation principles and helps to avoid double counting at the company level.

In addition, it is planned to create a working group on ethics in the field of AI in the financial market with the participation of the Bank of Russia. The group will collect and analyze cases related to responsible use of AI in the industry.
