Central University announced the holding of the final of the All-Russian Olympiad in Mathematics

The Central University will host the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren in Mathematics in the 2025/26 academic year from April 14 to 20, representatives of the university said.

"The Central University will act as the organizer of the Olympiad, provide sightseeing and educational programs with the involvement of partners, as well as hold the opening and award ceremonies," the university noted.

The participants of the final stage will have to solve tasks that are designed for grades 9-11. The final consists of two theoretical rounds, each of which contains four tasks. Participants will have five hours to complete the tasks of each round.

The winners receive benefits upon admission to universities, including the opportunity to enroll without entrance tests.

Participants of the regional stage of the Olympiad of the current academic year who have scored a passing grade, as well as winners and prize-winners of the final of the previous year who continue their studies, are allowed to enter the final.

"For talented students from all over Russia, this is an opportunity to demonstrate their deep knowledge of mathematics, receive well-deserved admission benefits, and become part of a community of future leaders in science and technology. In turn, we are ready to create all conditions for holding this prestigious competition at the highest level," said Evgeny Ivashkevich, Rector of the Central University.

He recalled that the university has experience in preparing talented students to perform at international competitions. Thus, school teams led by the Central University and partners have won three prestigious world competitions for high school students: in 2024 and 2025 at the International Olympiad on Artificial Intelligence (IOAI), as well as at the International Olympiad on Cybersecurity (ICO) in 2025.

The All—Russian School Olympiad is the country's main intellectual competition for students in grades 4-11. It is conducted annually in 24 subjects. The Olympiad consists of four stages: school, municipal, regional and final.
