In Russia, 5.5 thousand confiscated cars were transferred to the free zone

As part of the confiscation of property, 5.5 thousand cars were seized and transferred to the special military operation zone. This became known on November 20 from a document published on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, following a board meeting on the practice of property confiscation in criminal proceedings.

"In cases of repeated driving under the influence of alcohol, more than 33 thousand cars were confiscated. Over 5.5 thousand units of confiscated equipment were transferred to the free zone, 146 units for the development of new regions, and 19 more to the Ministry of Emergency Situations," the message says.
