A man was arrested in Noginsk in the case of serial crimes against women.
The Noginsk City Court has arrested Dmitry Vitalievich Artamoshin, accused of committing serious crimes, including rape, sexual assault and murder. This was announced on November 20 by a source familiar with the situation in Izvestia.
According to his information, Artamoshin refused to testify. As part of the investigation, two searches were conducted at the defendant's place of residence.
As it became known, the reason for the criminal case was the statement of one of the victims, Polina F., who managed to escape from the accused and contact the police. It was her statement that made it possible to open a case of sexual assault.
As part of the investigation, it turned out that another missing woman, Maria V., was last seen at Artamoshin's station, and then disappeared without a trace. Law enforcement agencies are also searching for Alena B. and checking the possible involvement of the defendant in the disappearance of another woman.
"It was established that the accused was looking for victims on one of the Internet services for posting ads, choosing a babysitter for the child. The girls came to his house, lived there, and then disappeared without a trace. Currently, two girls have not yet been found," the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region says.
Earlier, on November 1, a man was arrested in Moscow who had been raping his roommate's underage daughter for six years. According to the investigation, in the period from 2019 to October of this year, the man committed sexual acts against a minor. He admitted his guilt.
