A new sports complex with a swimming pool and a hall for group classes has been opened in Zyablikov at the request of residents, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.

"It is expected that over 650 people will visit it per day," the mayor wrote on the MACH messenger.

Swimming and water aerobics classes have already started in the building. There will also be sections on acrobatic rock and roll and modern choreography, rhythmic gymnastics, judo and yoga. In addition, Aquaris will host classes for the Moscow Longevity program.

"The sports complex is fully adapted for people with limited mobility," the mayor stressed.

In 14 years, 354 sports infrastructure facilities have been built in Moscow, 18 have been renovated. "This year we will finish the reconstruction of 16 more, and in the next two years we will build 119," Sobyanin said.

In the summer, the mayor opened the Maximum sports complex in Yuzhny Butovo. It has become part of a sports cluster, which also includes non-capital buildings built by investors with indoor football fields, tennis courts and ice arenas.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
