The third "viju night of emotions" was held in Moscow
On November 19, the third "viju night of emotions" dedicated to love took place at the Moscow cinema "Illusion". The guests of the evening, together with invited experts, explored through cinema how this feeling affects our behavior and daily life.
Together with the experts, the guests of the evening watched three "emotional sets". Each of them includes film fragments devoted to one aspect of love: feelings between a man and a woman, the relationship between parents and children, as well as the topic of self-worth. After each screening, the speakers shared their thoughts, commented on the scenes, and answered questions.
Psychologist Maxim Kovalenko spoke about the key signs of a "healthy" and abusive relationship, explained why the brain confuses fear, guilt, and pity with love, and emphasized the difference between self-worth and selfishness.
For their part, the topic was picked up by Egor Moskvitin and the editor-in-chief of the Cinema Theater.<url>, produced by Jean Prosyanov. Using examples, film critics have analyzed how films shape our perception of love. They explained how the directors convey love through the setting of the frame, light and sound. We talked about the details that make the viewer feel the movie, rather than just watching it.
The evening was held in the format of a live dialogue. Russian celebrities also took part in the event. Among the guests were Alyona Dolgolenko ("The Prophet. The Story of Alexander Pushkin", The Legends of the Eaglet), Dmitry Mukhamadeev ("At the behest of the Pike", "What men talk about. Simple pleasures"), Anastasia Gribulina ("He was not on the list", "Hero 115"), Ilya Leibin ("Molodezhka. New shift", "At the call of the heart").
