Students of Pskov colleges will attend excursions at the expense of the region
In the Pskov region, college students will be allowed to take guided tours at the expense of the region. The relevant amendment, expanding the list of participants in excursions and trips for cultural and educational purposes, was introduced into the law "On Tourism activities of the Pskov Region."
The deputies of the Pskov Regional Assembly clarified the age category of students who are subject to the powers of the authorities, the Pskov News feed writes.
Thus, such events will be organized not only for schoolchildren, but also for students of technical schools and colleges, if they are under the age of 23.
The change brings regional legislation into line with federal legislation. It takes into account that students of secondary vocational education are at the same age as high school students and need to be provided with opportunities for professional and cultural development.
The agency explains that, for example, excursions to industrial enterprises increase the effectiveness of educational programs and help students decide on a profession.
Earlier it was reported that in 2026-2027, seven innovative colleges will be built in Moscow, and the secondary vocational education (SPE) programs will be completely updated. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin approved plans for the modernization of the PDF in Moscow for 2026-2027 following a meeting of the government Presidium. In particular, the updating of all educational programs at colleges will be completed and the use of the Moscow Electronic School's capabilities will be expanded.
