In Tyumen, a tenant will be evicted from an apartment because of the unsanitary conditions he has allowed. A flock of pigeons lives there.

According to the <url> news agency, with reference to the press service of the city administration, the Department of property relations filed a lawsuit to impose an obligation on the tenant to provide access to the apartment and bring it into proper sanitary condition.

A request was sent to the tenant to vacate the premises and terminate the social rental agreement by December 4, 2025.
The agency writes that earlier in social networks there were complaints from neighbors of the "dysfunctional" apartment about the unsanitary conditions and the stench emanating from the premises. Neighbors captured on video a flock of pigeons that settled in the dwelling.

The agency was told in the Criminal Code that they were aware of the problem. They noted that the housing is municipal, not so long ago the apartment was sanitized, but it did not give any results.

The trial will take place in a week. The tenant will be obligated to provide access to specialists in the room and remove it.

Earlier, Dmitry Bondar, a public figure and housing and communal services expert, said that a neighbor who breeds cockroaches can be prosecuted under Article 6.4 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, in which case the fine will range from 500 to 1 thousand rubles. According to Bondar, according to the Housing Code, everyone is obliged to maintain an apartment in good condition and not violate the rights of neighbors. Civil liability provides more opportunities for protection. You can file a lawsuit and demand to oblige a neighbor to carry out disinsection and put the room in order.
