Six schools quarantined in Birobidzhan

Quarantine has been announced in six schools in Birobidzhan due to the high incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). This is reported by IA EAOmedia with reference to the city hall.

Since November 21, the educational process in schools No. 5 and No. 11 has been suspended. In addition, quarantine was previously introduced at Lyceum No. 23, gymnasium No. 1, schools No. 10 and No. 14.

Restrictive measures apply if more than 20% of students are absent due to illness.

In the Pskov region, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections increased by 34% over the past week. The quarantine is in effect in five classrooms of five schools.
