The average amount of car loans issued in Russia increased in October
The average amount of car loans issued in Russia in October 2025 increased by 9.5% compared to a year ago. This was announced by the press service of the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBKI) on Thursday, November 20.
The ministry clarified that in October of this year, the average amount of car loans issued amounted to 1.51 million rubles.
"At the same time, compared to the previous month, this indicator has practically not changed (minus 0.1%) (in September 2025 — 1.51 million rubles)," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.
The NBKI clarified that the largest average amount of car loans issued in October 2025 was recorded in Moscow (2.10 million rubles), the Moscow Region (1.84 million rubles) and St. Petersburg (1.75 million rubles).
On October 30, the NBKI reported that in January–September 2025, the volume of car loans in Russia decreased by 45.5% compared to the same period last year. Banks have issued car loans for 1034.4 billion rubles, while in 2024 this amount amounted to 1.8 billion rubles, according to 360.ru .
