The Supreme Court has liquidated the Party of Growth

The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation has liquidated the Party of Growth. This was reported to Izvestia on November 20 by the court's press service.

The reason for the decision was non-compliance with the requirements of the legislation, according to which the party must have regional branches in at least half of the subjects of the Russian Federation. At the same time, party branches operated in only 43 regions.

The Party of Growth was established in 2016 by Boris Titov, the Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights.

The New People Party merged with the Party of Growth on April 19. Alexey Nechaev, chairman of the New People party, noted that the association is a legal one.
