The crew of the T-72B3M tank destroyed the temporary deployment point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The crew of the T-72B3M tank of the 506th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 27th Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Center group of forces destroyed the temporary deployment point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO) from a closed firing position. This was announced on November 20 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Having received information about the enemy's location from the military personnel of the division's unmanned systems, the tankers immediately aimed their guns at the enemy's camouflaged positions. From a distance of over 9 km, they fired a series of high-explosive fragmentation rounds. Thanks to the continuous transmission of data from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to the crew's tablets, the tankers were able to observe the results of their shots in real time and adjust the fire.

This significantly increased the effectiveness of hitting targets and reduced the number of shots needed. The successful actions of the tankers of the Center group of forces led to the destruction of enemy shelters and manpower, which created the conditions for the advance of the assault groups and the further liberation of Krasnoarmeysk.

The use of the "semi-direct aiming" method with constant adjustment of fire according to drone data received on the tablet of the tank platoon commander ensures high accuracy and efficiency of tank strikes. Every day, tankers of the 27th Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Center group of forces use this method to destroy armored vehicles, including foreign ones, ammunition depots, fortified positions and enemy manpower in this area, disrupting rotations and attempts at counterattacks.

"The detection occurs, the coordinates are reset, a request is sent to us, and we are already working on the targets. The targets don't matter, whether it's a group of infantry, whether it's some kind of weapon or equipment. The task will be to work out the target — the crew is always ready to work out," tank platoon commander Alexey shared the details.

On November 17, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the calculation of the TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system of the 20th Regiment of radiation, chemical and Biological Protection of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Zapad group struck an object of the military infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. The commander of the heavy flamethrower platoon with the call sign Crunch noted that the strike was carried out with high precision and concentration of the crew.
