The assault units of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces told the details about their liberation of the village of Guy in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was announced on November 20 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

An attack aircraft with the call sign Sych stated that a large concentration of so—called "birds", unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), was observed over the area The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Because of this, as the military explained, both he and his colleagues had to track the movements of Ukrainian drones during the liberation of the village. He clarified that this operation had been planned in advance, so the enemy, who, according to him, did not have special skills, had practically no chance of resisting.

"We identified the entry points to the settlement, approached stealthily <...> so that no one could see us, and we did it whenever possible when it was foggy. On the one hand, my partner made a disturbing fire so that the enemy's attention would go away, and on the other hand, we entered carefully and cleanly...> they've been cleaned up," said the shooter with the call sign Seaman.

The fighter added that nationalist literature was discovered in this territory occupied by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in one day.

The commander of the UAV unit with the call sign Uran spoke about the air battles during the liberation of the village of Guy. He explained that the Russian drone operators had a task — to bring the Russian units to the necessary positions, which happens after aerial reconnaissance of the area, in which all information about potential threats that may be located on a particular segment is outlined on the map.

The ministry noted that the units of the Vostok group of forces are steadily advancing in the Dnipropetrovsk region, destroying the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and creating conditions for their further offensive.
