Two people were rescued while extinguishing a fire in an apartment building in the center of Moscow. This was reported at the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the capital on Wednesday, November 19.

"Two people were rescued by firefighters using rescue devices from the overlying floors. There was no information about the victims," the department told the Moscow City News agency.

Earlier in the day, a fire occurred in the elite Lucky residential complex on Zvenigorodskaya Street in the center of Moscow, IA Regnum reports.

The fire broke out in an apartment on the 19th floor of a 21-storey building. The fire area was 15 square meters, the incident occurred in a six-room apartment.
