Generators from the state reserve will be sent to the DPR after the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on energy facilities.

Generators and tankers from the Federal Agency for State Reserves will be sent to the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) to recover from the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on energy facilities. This was announced on November 19 by the head of the region Denis Pushilin.

"I have agreed with Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, on the allocation of generators and tankers from the Federal Agency for State Reserves, which are now very necessary for the region," the head of the DPR said in his Telegram channel.

Pushilin clarified that after the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck, almost half of the 1,015 boiler houses of Donbassteploenergo stopped — 490. Thanks to the promptly taken measures, most of the de-energized facilities have already been put into operation.

"Most of the boiler houses were started up around the clock as soon as possible. At the moment, due to the low voltage in the network, some of them do not provide heat yet. Work on starting the coolant supply continues," he added.

The day before, it was reported that the Starobeshevskaya thermal power plant in the DPR was seriously damaged as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Later, Pushilin signed a decree on the introduction of a regional emergency in the DPR due to damage to a thermal power plant (TPP) as a result of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The emergency regime was extended to 20 municipalities of the republic, including the largest cities: Donetsk, Mariupol, Gorlovka and others.
