The average cost of new electric cars in Russia decreased by 20% over the year

The average cost of new electric vehicles in Russia in 2025 decreased by 19.8% compared to last year, reaching 5.15 million rubles, and the most popular models were the Ora 03, Evolve i-Pro and Zeekr 001. On November 19, experts from Avito Avto told Izvestia about this.

Among the models for the year, HiPhi Z (-47.8%; up to 5.8 million rubles), Voyah Free (-41.8%; up to 4.65 million rubles), NIO ES8 (-39.2%; up to 7.9 million rubles), Hongqi E-HS9 (-30.6%; up to 6.59 million rubles) and Evolve i-Joy became more affordable (-29%; up to 2.84 million rubles), as well as Voyah Passion (-26.7%; up to 6 million rubles), Evolve i-Pro (-16.7%; up to 2.49 million rubles) and Zeekr 007 (-5.4%; up to 5.3 million rubles).

The most popular electric cars among Russian consumers were the Zeekr, Ora, Evolute, Amberauto and Avatr brands. Among the specific models, the most popular were the Ora 03, Evolve i-Pro, Zeekr 001, Amberauto A5, Avatr 11, as well as three Zeekr models (009, X, and 7X), Geely EX5 and Hongqi E-HS9.

The highest demand dynamics for the year were demonstrated by electric cars of the Evolve brands (3.1 times growth), Ora (2.7 times growth) and NIO (+63.4%). Among the models, the Ora 03 (2.9 times), NIO ES8 (2.1 times) and Avatr 11 (+85.5%) began to attract more attention.

Experts noted that the dynamics of the average price depends on changes in the cost of a particular model and on changes in the market structure. The more available versions of a particular model or budget vehicles of a particular brand are on sale, the lower their average price.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the average cost of repair and maintenance of popular electric vehicles amounted to 5973 rubles in the first ten months of 2025, it increased by 24% year-on-year. At the same time, the average check for popular hybrid cars was 8586 rubles (+9%). Thus, a fully electric car is more than 30% cheaper to maintain than a benzoelectric one.
