The Balashikha City Court of the Moscow region refused to protect the defendants in returning the criminal case of fraud involving the apartment of singer Larisa Dolina to the prosecutor's office. An informed source told Izvestia about this on November 19.

He noted that the civil lawsuits of the singer and Polina Lurie, who had previously purchased her apartment, would be considered in a separate civil proceeding.

The singer in August 2024, succumbing to the tricks of telephone scams, lost her savings and even sold the apartment at their request. For three months, from April to June, malefactors based in Ukraine methodically deceived Dolina, forcing her to transfer funds to them. Realizing that she had been deceived, the actress turned to law enforcement agencies.

In March of this year, the Khamovnichesky district court of the capital ruled in favor of Dolina on the counterclaims of the singer and Lurie. The court recovered more than 69 million rubles in favor of the actress in the framework of the criminal case.

Later, on September 8, it was reported that Lurie's appeal was denied. The Moscow City Court also recognized the legal decision on the ownership of the disputed apartment for Dolina, her daughter and granddaughter.

On October 27, Lurie appealed the decision to invalidate the purchase and sale of the artist's real estate to the Court of Cassation.
