The Investigative Committee (IC) in the Chelyabinsk region has opened a criminal case into the attack of a schoolgirl on a teacher with nail scissors because of a remark in a lesson in the city of Kartaly. This was reported on November 19 in the Telegram channel of the regional department.

"In one of the schools in the city of Kartaly, Chelyabinsk region, a 14-year—old girl struck a teacher in the neck with a nail clipper during a lesson," the UK said in a statement.

According to the published information, the investigators opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Negligence"). Along with this, the Investigative Committee staff organized a pre-investigation check under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional infliction of minor harm to health").

It is noted that all the circumstances of the incident are currently being established.

Earlier, on November 12, a 10th grade student attacked a teacher at a school in Moscow, after which the teacher was hospitalized. It was clarified that the teenager had put a stack of notebooks from the teacher's desk in his briefcase. After that, the teacher noticed the loss and demanded to return the notebooks, in response, the student began to beat the woman on the head. It was noted that the teacher was hospitalized with injuries.
