Peskov said there were no contacts between Russia and Witkoff.
Russia has not yet been in contact with the special envoy of the President of the United States, Stephen Witkoff. This was announced on November 19 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Not yet," he said, answering a question from RIA Novosti about contacts with the American special envoy.
However, Peskov added that Witkoff can come to Russia at any time, because "he will be welcome here."
The day before, the American portal Axios reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump is developing a new plan to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, holding consultations with Moscow. It was noted that Witkoff plays a key role in the development of this plan.
Later, Peskov said that there were no innovations in the Russian-American negotiations so far compared to the Anchorage summit.
