- VTB reported a 40% increase in the number of recipients of unified child benefits%
The number of recipients of unified child benefits has increased by 40% this year compared to 2024, the VTB press service said.
They noted that since the beginning of the year, more than 300 thousand customers have received over 50 billion rubles of unified child benefits — the total amount of payments has almost doubled last year's figure.
Most often, residents of Moscow, Krasnodar Krai, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Irkutsk and Sverdlovsk regions apply for benefits from VTB.
The bank reminded that the free "Social Calculator" service is available to calculate the required payments. Since January, more than 370,000 people have used it, who "have calculated potential payments totaling 11 billion rubles," VTB stressed.
A single benefit is a measure of state support provided to families with children and pregnant women with low incomes. In 2023, the single benefit replaced a number of other payments, including a monthly allowance for pregnant women registered before 12 weeks, a child care allowance for up to 1.5 years and up to 3 years.
