The Russian army repelled two attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through to the Oskol River

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation repelled two attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region in order to break through to the Oskol River to restore destroyed crossings. This was announced on November 19 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"During the day, two attacks by formations of the 125th and 143rd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Blagodatovka and Kutkovka, Kharkiv region, in order to break through to the Oskol River to restore destroyed crossings," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that the enemy's losses in this area amounted to up to 10 soldiers. In addition, Russian military personnel continue to sweep urban areas in Kupyansk.

The day before, the Russian Armed Forces thwarted an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through the encirclement in Kupyansk. The Defense Ministry added that during the day in the Red Army area, Russian soldiers were able to destroy up to 275 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as their tank, a 155-millimeter Caesar self-propelled artillery system made in France and four pickups.
