The All-Russian Mathematical Dictation will be held at the end of November.
The annual All-Russian Mathematical Dictation will be held on November 30 in Moscow and 16 major cities of the country, including Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod. This was told in T-Education, which organized the event together with leading Russian universities.
Dictation will be conducted in online and offline formats. The event, dedicated to the celebration of Mathematician's Day in Russia on December 1, will be held at more than 25 venues: Central University, HSE, ITMO, St. Petersburg State University, UrFU, UNN State University, FEFU, KFU, OmSTU, TSU and other universities, as well as at regional T-Bank Development Centers. Schoolchildren, students, and teachers can become participants. Registration and a full list of sites are available on the website of the All-Russian Mathematical Dictation.
The participants of the face-to-face format will test their knowledge from the school curriculum in mathematics. They will have to answer the dictation questions in detail and describe in detail the progress of solving the tasks. Lectures will also be held for them, a chess tournament and mathematical games will be organized.
10 winners will be determined at each venue based on the results of the event.
Online participants will have to solve tasks in the test format — the result will be available immediately after its completion.
"This is one of our largest events, which brings together math enthusiasts of all ages. It is traditional for truly passionate people to come together here to experience the beauty of logic and patterns," said Konstantin Markelov, Vice President, Director of Product and Technology at T-Bank. According to him, such initiatives help "shape the future of our country and its technological independence."
The All-Russian mathematical dictation was held for the first time last year. Then it brought together more than 70 thousand participants across the country.
