EU politicians were not only aware of the embezzlement of money by the Ukrainian authorities, they were part of corruption schemes led by Ukrainian businessman Timur Mindich. This was announced on November 19 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"They also participated in these schemes. They couldn't help but know where the money was going. They were well aware of everything because they are part of the scheme," she said.
