A court in the Krasnodar Territory fined a Russian man for images with pentagrams and Satan published ten years ago on a social network (the international Satanism movement is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned). This was reported on November 19 by the RIA Novosti news agency with reference to court materials.

It is noted that the police found the publications on the man's personal page on a social network, for which they drew up a protocol against him under the article of the Administrative Code on propaganda or public display of attributes and symbols of an extremist organization.

The defendant admitted his guilt and deleted the images, explaining that he had posted them "about eight to ten years ago, then they seemed funny to him."

At the end of October, the court decided to collect a fine of two thousand rubles from the Russian, clarifies "Газета.Ru ".

Earlier, on October 3, a court in Pskov ordered the destruction of the "Satanic Bible" (recognized as extremist in Russia and banned from distribution), which a Russian citizen tried to import into Russia from Estonia. It was clarified that the book was found by customs officers when checking the man's luggage.
