A Russian fighter, while in a trench, shot down a drone with a backpack, saving the lives of himself and several of his comrades. This was announced on November 19 by the senior shooter of the Vostok group of forces with the call sign Kosmik.
"We were sitting in a trench, and an FPV [drone] flew in. My friend, without thinking twice, just grabbed a backpack and threw it at him. <...> The drone got tangled in the backpack, thus saving our lives. If it weren't for that, I probably wouldn't be standing here right now," the soldier told RIA Novosti.
