- The US Senate approved in absentia a bill on the publication of materials on the Epstein case
The U.S. Senate has approved a resolution in absentia that implies the release of documents in the case against financier Jeffrey Epstein, accused of trafficking minors and sexual exploitation. This was announced on the evening of November 18 at a meeting of the upper house.
This initiative was received from Chuck Schumer, the leader of the Democratic minority.
"Are there any objections? Without objections, it was accepted," RIA Novosti quoted the chairman of the meeting, deputy head of the Republican faction John Barrasso.
