On November 19, Izvestia obtained footage of the work of Russian artillery in the area of the special military operation. Soldiers of the 14th Guards Artillery Brigade of the 51st Guards Army of the Southern Military District, as part of the Center group of forces, congratulated Russian gunners on their professional holiday.

"Earlier in the morning, the crews are preparing to work towards Krasnoarmeysk, they are already beating almost outside the city, they are controlling the supply, the rotation that the enemy is trying to carry out. Intelligence has detected another attempt to break into the territory, now they will destroy the enemy. The work of the gunners does not stop around the clock," said Alexander Safiulin, a correspondent for Izvestia, who observed the work of the fighters.

"Our Blashnikovs (drone operators — Ed.) are working well, they are suppressing heavy hexacopters, shooting down wings, well done. The EW cover is good, and in general we work well: when we see an enemy "bird", we work hard on it. We are already hitting the Rodinsky area, we are getting out, we are covering the infantry, the offensive, we are working on counter-battery warfare, we are suppressing firing points so that our infantry can advance normally. We work for different brigades: they give us coordinates – we quickly aim, work out, suppress them so that they can carry out less transportation," said the commander of the Msta—B gun with the call sign Tikhy.

He explained that the enemy is trying to deliver reinforcements to Dimitrov, but these attempts are quickly thwarted by Russian artillery. Another soldier with the call sign Tikhy noted that absolutely everything has changed in the work of the gunners lately. He clarified that the actual work of the artillery brigades today has been completely rebuilt, unlike the "book" version: now the guns are no longer in the field — the fighters are hiding and burying equipment.

"At the control point, a person entered weather data, temperature, all the data, and the projectile is already hitting. There was a forest belt. — There our enemy troops were in the area of 50 meters from each other, and we worked well," said the gunner of the Msta-B cannon with the call sign Loud.

"Artillery will always remain the god of war, as drones can hit, but they will not be able to open the dugout. Accordingly, they always ask us to help. Two shells hit the target and even the most fortified bunker, a pillbox, it will be opened. So there is nowhere without artillery," the commander of the Msta-B cannon emphasized.

He congratulated all the gunners on their professional holiday and wished his colleagues good matches, weight marks, and "no misfires."

On November 10, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that gunners of the 238th Guards Artillery brigade of the South group of forces destroyed a stronghold and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Konstantinovsky direction. According to the ministry, 152-mm howitzers 2A65 "Msta-B" and high-explosive shells and precision-guided munitions "Krasnopol-M2" were involved in this operation.
