The IDF attacked a Hamas training ground in southern Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked a training center for the Palestinian Hamas movement located in southern Lebanon. This was announced on November 18 by the IDF press service.
"Some time ago, the IDF attacked terrorists operating in the Hamas training complex in the Ain al-Hilwa area of southern Lebanon," the Telegram channel said.
According to the IDF, the affected military complex, owned by Hamas, served as a training base for planning and carrying out terrorist attacks against members of the Israeli army.
The Israel Defense Forces stressed that before the strike, all possible precautions were taken to protect the civilian population, such as the use of precision weapons and the collection of additional intelligence data.
On November 16, the press service of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) reported that the IDF had attacked UN peacekeepers in southern Lebanon. It was clarified that UNIFIL called on the Israeli army to cease fire through their communication channels and noted that such actions are a serious violation of the UN Security Council resolution by Israel.
