Medvedev met with the Governor of the Kursk region
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, met with Alexander Khinstein, Governor of the Kursk Region, on Tuesday, November 18, and discussed security issues in the region.
"During the meeting with the governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinstein, we discussed topics related to ensuring regional security that were raised during a working trip to the Kursk region," he wrote on his page on the VKontakte social network.
The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia added that during the negotiations, issues related to the creation of a historical and cultural cluster on the territory of the Kursk Fortress, in preparation for the 1000th anniversary of the city, were also raised. He clarified that the United Russia party would help the Kursk Region with financing through a party project called Historical Memory.
On October 6, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the Russian government would allocate more than 700 million rubles to provide medical care to residents of the Belgorod and Kursk regions. According to him, this federal funding will allow medical institutions to provide residents of these regions with all necessary treatment within the framework of compulsory medical insurance without any problems.
