The incidence of acute respiratory viral infections increased in the Pskov region by 34%

Over the past week, almost 2.9 thousand people in the Pskov region turned to doctors with signs of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). The incidence rate increased by 34%.

According to the Pskov news feed, children under the age of 14 account for more than 60% of cases of diseases. Quarantine measures are in effect in five classrooms of five schools, as well as in two groups of kindergartens.

Experts have identified viruses of non-influenza etiology in the structure of circulating viruses. 11 people were hospitalized with symptoms of acute respiratory viral infections.

Over the past week, 80 cases of influenza have been registered in the Irkutsk region.
